Events
In Haiti, meetings were only possible within the UN red zone using armed convoys, 2006/7
The Bill Brookman Foundation hosts a series of events throughout the year
(most reachable without armed convoy):
- Our Annual General Meeting is each February or March
- Foundation committee meetings take place all year
- We organise an annual public talk each February or March
- We host at least one symposium a year
- Our Summer Residency takes place each August
- Our Young Foundation Group meets weekly when a project is running
- We send representatives to talks, conferences, symposia and round table discussions nationally and internationally
- Round table meetings have taken place with stakeholders in Somalia in 2009 and 2010.
