The Young Foundation
The Young Foundation gets young people involved with issues inspired by the Foundation. Members can and do qualify for Arts Awards for these projects.
Members of 101 Performing Arts Group research the possibility of performing circus skills as 'amputees' before the Foundation's trip to Sierra Leone in 2006.
The Young Foundation gets young people involved with issues inspired by the Foundation.
Projects have included:
- Circus performance to help raise £1,700 for Haiti earthquake relief, March 2010 at a Sixties Night, Leicester, UK
- Katrina, Sophie, Phoebe, Kitty and Hermione curating an exhibition of Nepalese and Ugandan child soldier drawings, 2009.
- Helena and Victoria (aged only 16) travelling to Haiti to teach circus and dance, 2007
- 101 Performing Arts Group researching techniques whereby Sierra Leone amputees could perform circus skills, 2006
